Phil's professional career spans thirty years of global non-profit service in more than 20 countries. He understands the challenges of the working person from his experiences in aviation, teaching, law enforcement and private security, agriculture, the military and the shop floor of the factory.

He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota's College of Forestry. Like many university grads, he left his chosen field of study. He went into law enforcement and aviation and later began working with non-profits. He has since started two nonprofit organizations.

Phil is a licensed US and Canadian commercial pilot with 2300 hours of flying time, has held instrument, instructor and seaplane ratings, and is a licensed aircraft mechanic. He flew as a missionary pilot in Indonesia and northern Canada.

He is an ordained Southern Baptist minister and a Civil War re-enactor who portrays a Union Battlefield chaplain.

He is happily married to Debbie, and they have three great sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law and two grandkids.

Phil is also a public speaker. He presents a challenge to serve others, to strive for greater personal integrity and to grow in faith...peppered with a lifetime of stories from his experiences around the world.
